Our New Trainee Potter at Muchelney Pottery
We’re delighted to welcome Hannah Leach, granddaughter of John Leach, as she begins her journey in the family tradition. With a long-standing passion for pottery, Hannah is now stepping into the studio to train in all aspects of production pottery and wood firing, guided by the expert hands of Mark Melbourne.
Potters of the world, IGNITE!
We’re excited to support her as she hones her craft and becomes part of the Muchelney Pottery story. Watch this space for updates on her progress — and in the words of her grandfather: “Potters of the world, IGNITE!”
Bringing Fresh Energy to the Team.
As she learns the rhythms of the workshop and the nuances of the kiln, Hannah brings a fresh energy to the team — bridging generations while embracing the timeless skills that define our craft. Her journey is just beginning and we can’t wait to see the work she creates along the way. Hannah is here on a part-time basis but is always at our Open Day events so come along to one and meet her – you can’t miss her!
