Open Day at The Pottery
Saturday 25th July 2026 | 10am – 4pm
At the end of July our Summer Open Day returns, and we would love to welcome you here to Muchelney Pottery.
There will be fresh pots from the kiln, demonstrations with Mark, beautiful new prints by Paul Cleden and music from our very own Hannah Leach. We are also delighted to welcome Dunleavy Vineyards, who will be joining us for wine tastings throughout the day alongside food from the wonderful Kind Kitchen Bakery. Visitors will also have the rare opportunity to wander through the kiln shed, pottery yard, shop and gallery while everything is in full swing, including some spaces that are normally closed to the public.
We will be launching our brand new ‘Potters of the World IGNITE’ tankards, alongside a small display of what we rather fondly call our beautiful disasters, pots transformed unexpectedly by the kiln into sculptural, quirky and often surprisingly beautiful pieces.
A lovely day of pottery, craftsmanship, conversation and Somerset life. We very much hope you can join us.
