Muchelney Pottery’s medium mixing bowl is a timeless kitchen companion — one of those pieces you’ll reach for again and again. Whether whisking eggs for an omelette, mixing Yorkshire pudding batter, or tossing a fresh summer salad, it’s the kind of bowl that quietly earns its place in daily life.
Measuring approximately 10cm high by 18cm wide, its generous, rounded form and subtly shaped lip make it ideal for mixing and pouring. Batter flows smoothly into the pan, sauces are easy to portion, and even a handful of vegetables feels at home in its rustic, tactile curves.
Each bowl is hand-thrown on the wheel and fired in our traditional wood kiln in Somerset. No two bowls are the same — the flames leave their own quiet marks on every piece, giving each one a unique finish and sense of individuality. It’s pottery made to be used, loved, and passed on.
Safe for conventional and microwave ovens (but not for hob use), this bowl is also dishwasher safe and made with lead-free glazes. It’s part of our oven-to-table collection — where function meets form in the warm glow of woodfired craftsmanship.
