This medium deep baking dish from Muchelney Pottery is built for comfort food — generous lasagnes, slow-baked vegetable dishes, or layered meals that benefit from time and patience in the oven. At approximately 9.5cm high by 23.5cm wide, it strikes the perfect balance between size and practicality — large enough for sharing, compact enough for regular use. Its clean, rounded form and tactile surface make it a pleasure to carry from oven to table, adding warmth and tradition to any meal.
Each dish is hand-thrown and fired in our wood kiln in the heart of Somerset. The firing process leaves behind subtle flame markings and variations in finish, meaning no two dishes are alike. These differences are not flaws — they’re the result of a centuries-old process that celebrates natural variation and the mark of the maker.
Oven and microwave safe (but not suitable for hob use), this baking dish is also dishwasher safe and made with lead-free glazes. Designed to work hard in your kitchen and look beautiful on your table.
