This hand-thrown teapot from Muchelney Pottery brings the pleasure of properly brewed tea back to the table. With a capacity of approximately 0.9 litres — enough for around four cups — it’s ideal for slow breakfasts, shared moments, or afternoon tea with company.
Measuring around 11.5cm high by 10.5cm wide, it’s thoughtfully designed for both function and form. The spout pours cleanly, the lid sits securely, and the rounded shape helps keep the tea warm. Whether used daily or brought out for special occasions, it’s a pot that elevates the ritual of tea — offering something far richer than a bag in a mug.
Each teapot is individually thrown and fired in our traditional wood kiln in Somerset. The natural movement of the flame creates gentle, organic variations in colour and tone, so every piece is unique — a one-of-a-kind expression of fire, clay, and craftsmanship.
Dishwasher safe and finished with lead-free glaze, this teapot is also suitable for microwave and conventional ovens (though not on the hob). From quiet mornings to generous teatimes, it’s a piece to use, savour, and share.
